Today, we meet at the arranged pick-up point and then set off toward the world-famous Kruger National Park — your gateway to untamed Africa. After a warm welcome from your guide, we take some time to enjoy lunch together, go over the details of your safari, and get familiar with your private open safari vehicle.

Once everyone is ready, we begin our journey into the park. Following the completion of entrance formalities, our first game drive officially begins. During this drive, you’ll get your first taste of the Kruger wilderness; keep your eyes open for elephants, antelope, and perhaps even a big cat lounging in the shade.

As the afternoon turns to evening, we arrive at camp where you’ll check in and settle into your accommodation. Here, there’s time to explore the camp, visit the shop for any essentials, or simply relax and take in the sounds of the bush. Finally, as night falls, we gather for a hearty dinner beneath the stars — the perfect way to end your first day in the wild.

The day begins just before sunrise with a steaming cup of coffee or tea as we prepare to head out on our first morning game drive. This is because the early hours are one of the best times of day to be in the bush; the air is cool, the light is soft, and wildlife is at its most active. With predators often on the move after a night of hunting, the early hours offer some of the most rewarding sightings. Our drive then lasts around three to four hours, depending on what nature has in store for us.

After an exciting morning in the wild, we return to camp for a hearty homemade breakfast. During the rest of the morning, you are free to relax, unwind with a good book, take a refreshing swim, or simply enjoy the sounds of the bush from your veranda.

Following lunch, we set out again for our afternoon safari. Each drive offers something new, exploring different areas of the park and following up on any special sightings reported earlier in the day. Indeed, no two afternoons are ever the same; the wilderness always has a surprise waiting just around the corner.

As the sun dips below the horizon and the sky turns shades of gold and crimson, we make our way back to camp. Finally, the evening is spent enjoying a delicious dinner under the stars, perhaps with a glass of wine in hand, while reflecting on the day’s adventures and the incredible moments shared in the African bush.

Your last day begins with one final sunrise game drive, giving you one more chance to experience the thrill of exploring Kruger National Park in your open safari vehicle. The early morning light, the sounds of the waking bush, and the possibility of spotting wildlife make this a truly special way to end your safari.

After the drive, we’ll return to camp for a leisurely final breakfast before slowly making our way to your arranged drop-off point.
